Ya que estamos con la nostalgia en su máximo apogeo, algo de 1989, les dejo esto, que alguno dirá: "esa canción, a poco la toncan ellos?", así un grupo que nació y desapereció tan rápido que casí nadie los recuerda, pero esta canción, que se las dejo para los adoloridos que en alguna borrachera la cantamos hasta aprendernósla y porque no hasta en alguna serenata, en aquellos viejos tiempos, pero para no te digan nunca sabrás, te cuento que Sotano, este disco es producido por Andres Calamaro, ahora entienden verdad?, los integrantes: Andreko, teclados y voz, Toño Isaac, Guitarra y voz, y Miguel, bajo; un muy buen disco lo tengo en acetato, pero si alguien lo tiene o sabe de alguien que lo tiene en CD, llamame, por favor. Pero mientras, desgarren su voz diciendole a esa persona que nunca sabrá cuanto la amaste...

Único disco oficial del grupo mexicano de Rock Ninot, conformado por Enric Rodamillans (Bajo y voz), Carlos Walraven (Batería), Fratta (Teclados y Coros) y Jarris Margalli (Guitarra y voz); todos ellos excelentes músicos que no han dejado de aportar a la escena del rock nacional, ya sea haciendo su propia música (como Jarris -que formaría parte de Jaguares en "Bajo el azul de tu misterio"- y Fratta), produciendo discos (Como Enric), o como ingenieros de sonido (Carlos). Este tema fue compuesto por Enric Rodamillans y está incluido en el disco "Mil Marionetas" que fue editado al final de los ochenta. De lo cual se dice de lo bueno poco, espero que la recuerden y recuerden mucho sobre esa epoca.

Sí bien no fue de mi época, y no fue parte de mi crecimiento, cuando la escuche por primera vez fue en los 90's, y eso porque estaba escuchando en Orbita 105.7 un especial con el extinto grupo de los Caifanes, donde Sabo Romo, mencionaba a esta canción de Pedro Gabriel como una de sus favoritas, y de ahi se volvió una de las mías, si no las has escuchado, escuchala y verás por que, sí la conoces me darás la razón, una canción efimera, que es para traer taradeando todo el día, que si bien dicen que los ojos son el reflejo del alma, y los ojos son lo que se me quedan de una persona, imaginate lo que pasa cuando veo tus ojos...

Recuerdo las noticias, yo aún pequeño para ir a conciertos, que INXS habia visitado México, y que el concierto fue de lo mejor que Michael Hutchence, y su voz se entregaron al máximo en el concierto, y después de eso se vino una ola de conciertos, pero los primeros que reactivaron los conciertos en México fueron ellos, Australianos, que desgraciadamente con la muerte de Hutchence en 1997, la banda nunca fue la misma, pero deja un gran legado musical, para el disco mas importante es el " X", sin embargo el "Kick" es muy bueno, INXS, una banda que deja un exceso de buena musica en nuestros oidos... sobre esta canción, siempre que se quiere subir y seguir avanzando, que cuesta, y cuesta mucho, sin embargo en base de lucha de logros, esfuerzo y constancia se va logrando cada paso, cada escalón, los que son testigos mudos son los peldaños que nuestros pies dan a cada paso...

Sí Pearl Jam, es mi segunda banda favorita, R.E.M., es la tercera, sompitiendo fuertemente, letras inteligentes, con música diferente, con sentido introspectivo, con alta dosis de melancolia y sabor a soledad, con firmeza en los acordes, de la guitarra o mandolina, según el caso, pero siempre rodeado de un ambiente positivo, recuerdo cuando compre el album de R.E.M. de Out the Time, el cuál, simplemente no habia escuchado ni una sola canción, es más ni siquiera sabia quien era R.E.M., pero lo confundí con un grupo de moda en ese entonces llamado E.M.F., que la verdad paso sin pena ni gloria, pero al escuchar todo el disco me dí cuenta de lo que tenia en mis manos, y fui a buscar mas de ellos, antes no existia el internet como hoy, que puedes buscarlo muy rápido, y conseguí un disco de "exitos", antes del Out the time, lo que más me gusto fue la versatilidad sin perder el estilo R.E.M. y la voz de Michael Stipe, pero realmente me sorprendí al escuchar el track numero 15 The one I love: que me transporto por todos los sentimientos que existen, desde la alegría el nervisismo del primer amor, hasta la triste de cuando se termino...

Given to fly - Pearl Jam

Si bien los noventas fueron dominados por Nirvana, existió y existe una banda que sigue en pie de lucha dando más que ninguna, Pearl Jam, su primer disco Ten, es excelente, donde estan las magnificas canciones de Jeremy, Oceans, Black, Even Flow, pero en lo particular me gusta más el Yield, sin menospreciar a los demás que son también excelentes, pero las canciones de Pilate, Wishlist, No way, Faithful, Brian of J., Evolution y Given to Fly, son imprescindibles, Given to Fly realmente te hace volar, te lleva, de la tranquilidad a las palpitaciones fuertes que te dejan sin respiración, es increible la voz de Eddie Vedder, que es el sello de toda la banda, realmente no hay canción de la mermelada que no te recomiende, así tambien es una banda comprometida con las causas nobles es decir activista, como cuando grabo: The last Kiss, a favor de los refugiados de la guerra deKosovo.

Para mi no hay banda más grande que las calabazas aplastadas, son simplemente un grupo que te sorprende con cada track, es parte importante del soundtrack de mi vida, Billy Corgan, un compositor genial con una voz y un estilo de cantar inconfundible y diferente pero sobretodo original, que busca desgarrar su garganta como tu alma con su voz, y la poesia tan propositiva de sus letras, sería todo el blog hablar de estas calabazas, que sin duda ahora creo en lo que me decia mi madre: "las calabazas alimentan, tienen muchas vitaminas y te van a hacer sentir muy bien"... cuanta razón tenía mi madre... siempre que estoy de capa caida, busco refugio en esta canción... por realmente creo, creo un mejor mañana, creo en un mejor México, creo en un mejor mundo, porque como alguien dijo, cada vez que veo a una mujer embarazada, le doy gracias por creer igual que yo en que el futuro es mejor que el hoy... que el mañana es una excusa para vivir el presente... y creo que pronto saldremos de esta crisis...la pregunta es:¿Puedes tu también creer?...
