Ya para completar esta trilogía les dejo la canción Listen, que al igual que la anterior pertenecen al disco de Disciplined Breakdown, en donde en lo personal, esta canción me encanta las guitarras que acompañan toda la canción, por lo que esta por demás que se me hace excelente....

Collective Soul, no se queda con solo su primer exito, ni con su primer album, sino que sigue evolucionando y para mi gusto mejorando, donde Roland muestra letras ingeniosas y de gran profundidad, y lo demuestran en el disco de 1997: Disciplined Breakdown, tercer album de la banda, donde se desprenden los sencillos "Precious Declaration""Listen" y "Blame". Donde las dos primeras canciones pasan a la inmortalidad como unas de las mejores de la banda.

Esta canción Precious Declaration, refleja el momento en que estaba viviendo la banda, ya que mantenian durante la grabación de este disco un asunto legal con un ex-manager. Solo queda agregar que es una excelente canción.

Collective Soul, una banda norteamericana, de Georgia, con un sonido post grunge, que se dío a conocer con la canción pegagosa de "shine", en aquel ya lejano 1993, donde no solo ese primer disco tenia una solo hit, sino que todo es excelente, sin embargo lo que vendría después sería mejor, donde él cantante, guitarrista y compositor, Ed Roland, hace gala de su talento y en compañia de su hermano, Dean Roland en la otra guitarra, Will Turpin en el bajo, como guitarra lider Ross Childress, quien es sustituido en el 2001 por Joel Kosche y el baterista Shane Evans que es sustituido por el baterista de sesión Ryan Hoyle a partir del 2004,que a su vez deja su lugar a Cheney Brannon en el 2008.

Sobre la canción y el video, es un poema a la esperanza, un lucha por la paz interna, que es tan dificil de encontrar cuando todo va mal, es la búsqueda de la luz del final del tunel, donde entra la reflexión de lo que hemos decidido en nuestra vida es correcto, donde las frases se vuelven incompletas, donde las imagenes son borrosas y cada una de las letras no forman ninguna palabra, es triste llegar a este lugar, a este espacio, a este momento, pero sin embargo si existe la luz a final del tunel, si existe un pequeño grano de bondad, si existe un nuevo amanecer, si existe esperanza en esta vida, lo que viene será mejor.... ya lo verás...
